As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and completing the design of road, utility, and site projects. This person will be responsible for leading the full life cycle of a civil project including proposal preparation, client contracts, and budgets management through design-build construction. This role will work collaboratively with the construction team through constructability, budgeting, and hand-off. The successful candidate will be experienced in creating engineering products to meet customer quality requirements for a client projects, uphold high standards of communication and customer service, and be familiar with working within municipal and state agencies.

What You'll Do:
- Prepares schematics and drawings for construction
- Performs design computations for buildings to ensure compliance with sound engineering practices and codes
- Works with construction team to estimate cost and schedule of projects
- Writes engineering specifications
- Provides oversight and coordinates the work of contractors to ensure appropriate execution of construction drawings
- Serves as project manager for engineering projects within the Civil discipline
- Develops and applies engineering standards and procedures across department
- Research new and improved engineering and design practices
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
What You Bring:
- 6+ years of experience in civil engineering projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed PE
- Demonstrated track record of success in Civil Engineering design and build projects
- Advanced design experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with client management
- Experience with CAD, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
- Experience with local municipalities; Montana DEQ
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
- MS in Civil Engineering is a plus
