Summary of the Job:

Maintains and pour concrete forms.  Safely operates a forklift and/or loader to assist customers purchasing products.  Learns products to efficiently load customers and/or trucks.  Works overtime and Saturdays when needed. 

Work Environment:

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment and outside weather conditions, cement and admixtures.

May be around some materials that are considered hazardous. 

 Job Characteristics:

This position performs technical and moderate to heavy physical labor duties.  Requires attention to detail and safe procedures.  Requires accurate record keeping, diplomacy and knowledge of products.  Maintains confidentiality.

Daily contact with the public, other employees, and contractors.

Essential Functions:

Ability to communicate orally and in writing.  Communication over the radio system is essential.  Maintain clear and concise records while performing equipment inspections.  Keep paperwork in order and write legibly.  Complete and submit all paperwork in a timely manner.

Professional appearance and attitude.  Ability to work as a team as well as independently.  Safetly handle power tools.  Work at an efficient and safe pace.

Lift 100# properly.

Responsible for inspecting equipment for proper and safe operating conditions at beginning and end of day.

Operate equipment safely and properly load customer vehicles as well as in house trucks.

Keeping inside and ouside of equipment clean at all times.

Follow all safety precautions / rules at all times.

Performs any other duties as required, including but not limited to cleaning the yard, welding when applicable, shop/mechanic work when applicable, operating the forklift and loaders (once certified), helping customers in the yard, etc.  All employees of DBRM are expected to do what it takes to safely get the job done.

Experience:

Basic customer service skills.  Basic math skills. Skills in operating heavy equipment such as loaders and forklifts.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

High School Diploma or GED

Valid State of Montana Drivers License (preferrred)

Clean Driving Record

Pass a pre-employment physical

Pass a pre-employment drug test as well as random tests

Pass a background check
